Section 2 - Rules to die by

Instead of opening the chest:

say "You open the chest, expecting to see gold, diamonds, treasure, or even just an iron ingot.[paragraph break]You cautiously peer inside the chest, not wanting to ruin the moment before you have to admit to yourself that of course it's empty.";

Let C be the list of uppermost garment-elements worn by the player;

if underwear is listed in C:

say "Of course it's empty, because you are the one who buried it here. You buried it here the last time you spent all afternoon digging up the yard in your damn underpants.";

otherwise if the player is wearing nothing:

say "Of course it's empty, because you are the one who buried it here. You buried it here the last time you spent all afternoon digging up the yard butt naked.";

otherwise:

say "Of course it's empty, because you are the one who buried it here. You buried it here the last time you spent all afternoon digging up the yard wearing [a list of uppermost garments worn by the player]";

end the story finally saying "You are now dirty and alone."

Before going a direction when broken glass is in the location:

if the player is not wearing a pair of shoes:

say "As you're walking [noun] you step on a large fragment of glass. [paragraph break]You stumble to the floor, landing in more bits of [the random broken glass in the location].[paragraph break]";

say "You lie on the [location in lower case] floor, next to [the random scenery in location], bleeding and thinking to yourself 'If I hadn't left my shoes in the dryer last night, none of this would have ever happened.'[paragraph break]Why did you leave your shoes in the dryer anyway?";

end the story finally saying "You are now dead and alone."
